The Kinnaman Family
The Lawrence & Ashley Kinnaman's story of finding a church family:
In 2021, our family set out to find a church body to call our own. We came across LC3 online, read through the statement of faith and ministry opportunities, and knew we wanted to visit. After our first Sunday and a discussion with Pastor Tung, we knew we had found our church home.
One of the many things that drew us to LC3 is the investment in family—in raising up parents in the Word, in encouraging and discipling parents to be their children’s first and primary disciplers, and in teaching children the true, inspired Word of God in children’s ministries.
It wasn’t long into our journey with LC3, that we felt called to dedicate our first born to Jesus Christ in front of the people who had become our family. A family who is committed to encouraging us, supporting us, and holding us accountable. A family who values our children as a part of the Kingdom of God, just as much as they value us, as their parents. A family who points us to Jesus. One year later, our second was born and we dedicated her to Christ with the same family cheering us on to raise her in the truth.
We are forever grateful we had the honor and privilege of committing to raise both of our children in Christ with our LC3 family surrounding us. What a blessing it is to know that the village helping us raise our children is rooting for them to grow into followers of Jesus, and equipping us to disciple them to do so.
