Markus & Kythanna

Markus Wilkening I have been part of Kaleo (LC3 high school ministry) throughout high school and recently joined the student leadership team. Looking for new ways to serve my youth group and those around me is important. One of the main reasons I want to go to Malawi is because I went on our mission trip to the Dream Center in LA last year and absolutely loved it. I look forward to seeing how God is moving in Malawi and how He will use me to serve the people of Malawi. As an athlete, I am excited to see how I can specifically help through their sports outreach team.

Kythanna Bullock I think about the person that I was just a few months ago, and I’m shocked by how much the Lord has changed me. For months I thought I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I was going to go to college, get a good job, and live a “normal” life; but lately God’s taken my plan and quite literally flipped it upside down. I want to go to Malawi because I am called to the mission field. This trip is my next step, and I am so excited to see what God is going to do in me there!

This summer the Malawi Team will be working with Passion Center. Their mission is to join God in rescuing, redeeming, and restoring orphans, the vulnerable, and whole communities. Through focused ministry efforts, they hope to see churches planted and strengthened; orphans becoming future leaders; the vulnerable cared for; cycles of poverty replaced by provision and productivity; and health needs met in village communities throughout Malawi for the glory of God.
Prayer needs: For sensitivity as we prepare to engage cross culturally with Malawi brothers and sisters.
