Celebrating 100 Years

This past weekend we gathered as a church family to celebrate 100 years of God’s faithfulness and goodness to our church. The weekend kicked off with games and worship and finished with 29 baptisms. In the middle we had bingo, a carnival for the neighborhood (with over 850 people!), and more fun reminiscing about how God has been faithful to and used Lake City to share His love over the years.

Over 1,000 people joined us this weekend - it truly was an awesome time as a church family. And you, Lake City, showed up; not just to have fun and celebrate together, but to contribute to the family. So many volunteers have been working faithfully for over six months to make this past weekend a success. Your staff couldn’t have done it without you, and we are so grateful for every person who played a part - welcoming and greeting; security, parking and first aid; childcare so parents could enjoy the services; and set-up and tear-down. It really did take the whole family!

God has been so faithful to our church. He has for 100 years, and He continues today. We are excited to see how God uses us in the next 100 years!
