Outreach

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations...
Matthew 28:19

God is a God of Missions. He is always working to extend the message of His salvation to the ends of the earth. Graciously, He has allowed LC3 to participate with Him in this mission. LC3 has been a solid presence in local and overseas missions for years, and now is expanding its reach into new areas around the world, providing new ways for the LC3 family to be involved.

GLOBAL OUTREACH

Unreached People Groups

An unreached people group is a people group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group without outside assistance. We have adopted four unreached people groups around the world: Turco-Russia (Central Asia), Niger, Japan, and Israel. In these areas we support local Christians and missionaries, send short-term mission teams, and pray for God's movement among these people who do not know the love of Jesus.

The Passion Center for Children

We have had a strong partnership with Passion Center for Children. LC3 has partnered with Passion Center through mission trips, prayer, and financial assistance to support local pastors ministering to achieve their vision to see all Malawians experience the grace and love of God through Christ-centered, church-based community transformation.

If you are interested in joining one of our Global Outreach teams, or would like more information on how you can get involved, email GlobalOutreach@LC3.com.

Local Outreach

Our Local Outreach has a vibrant ministry stretching from Tacoma to Olympia. In addition to our own ministries, we partner with local schools and organizations to meet tangible needs of those in our community. Whether it's through our food bank, community garden, or various fun events we host throughout the year, we want our church and campus feel accessible and hospitable.

We focus on supporting youth in our community, soldiers stationed at JBLM, opportunities for people to learn about the love of Jesus, and caring in practical ways for those in need or experiencing challenging times. It's also important that Christians learn how to be missionaries right where they live and work, finding their role in spreading the gospel with people they know and with whom they already have relationships.

Food Bank Hours: 1-5 PM every Thursday
The Bread of Life Food Bank's mission is to provide temporary food and other services in a compassionate, loving manner to needy families and individuals associated with Lake City Community Church and its surrounding area. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Lucy Wise.

We have unreached people groups right here in our neighborhood. Table of Nations is working to find ways to connect with and share the love of Jesus with these people. Whether it's helping them learn English, navigate life in the U.S., or visiting detainees at the local ICE Detention Center, there's a need for LC3 to be the hands and feet of Jesus right here. Contact TableofNations@LC3.com to learn more.
