The Worship Arts Ministry exists for the glory of God. This work is accomplished through an array of artistic expressions that God has so generously entrusted to us; that we might graciously and skillfully serve His purposes through the church and in the world.
OUR PASSION
At Lake City, worship is more than a song we sing or an event we attend. Worship is our response to God, for who He is, what He is doing; expressed in and by the things that we say and the ways that we live. That's why we like to say that our ministry is about "bringing worship to life." Not only will we seek to love God in our corporate gatherings and weekend services, but in every moment of every day.

Who can join the LC3 band & vocal team?
The people who are involved with the Band and Vocal ministry are investing in LC3 on a regular basis. They feel gifted and want to use their talents to serve LC3, while exhibiting a servant’s heart, ready and willing to serve where needed. Team members serve primarily at the weekend services, but also have opportunities to express their heart, gifts, and talents in various ministries throughout the week.
Do I have to be a member to join?
You do not have to be a member of LC3 in order to join. However, by joining the Worship Arts Team, it is our hope that you will decide to go through the Membership Class as soon as possible and officially join the LC3 family.
Will I be asked to play every week?
No. We try to be very conscious of your schedule and will coordinate with your calendar and availability. We ask our team members to serve at least once per month. Team members will attend Saturday afternoon rehearsals on the weekend they are scheduled. Likewise, each team member is encouraged to regularly participate in our weekend services, even if you are not playing.
When are rehearsals/services and how long do they last?
Rehearsals are on Saturdays at 3:15pm and run for approximately 2 hours, depending on what needs to be accomplished. We usually put together 4-5 songs each week, so it takes some time to get everything just right. Saturday night service starts at 6pm and ends around 7:15pm. Sound check for Sunday is at 7:30am with services at 9 & 11am. The last service ends around 12:15pm. Everyone is expected to know the music completely when you arrive for rehearsal. Music will be sent out approximately 7 days in advance of the weekend you serve.
Meet the team.
