MaryAlice Mitchell was a student at LC3. She is now a sophomore in college at Arizona Christian University.
Pray for Me is awesome! I’m so thankful for it. Having adults pray for me brought so much encouragement. Being in high school, I had a lot on my plate and a lot on my mind, often leaving me unable to fight my own battles. But to know that I was covered in prayer regarding school, sports, relationships, and so much else brought me confidence. Because their prayers mattered.
They still matter now, even in college. Plus, these adults are wise—gray hair is the splendor of the old! They’ve experienced pain, joy, struggle, disappointment, excitement, solitude, they have insight to pray for what I don’t even fathom. Their intercession is so valuable.
