Growing in Community

This year’s Man Camp will be my third LC3 Man Camp experience, and I can heartily recommend it to the men of our church.

For those of you that have not been to an LC3 Man Camp, the weekend is an opportunity for the men of the church to set ourselves apart from our daily routines, our daily concerns, and gives us time with our spiritual leaders and other men who love the Lord. I have been
blessed to attend prior camps where my faith has been refreshed, I have renewed my commitment to being in the Word, and I have been encouraged to volunteer in the men’s discipleship ministries of LC3.

The LC3 Man Camps are an experience that I wish I could have had 20 years ago. I know that I would be farther along in my spiritual journey had I had the opportunity to spend time with spiritually mature men in worship, hear their stories of their faith, and reflect on my own relationship with Jesus. Now, I have the opportunity and privilege to disciple and encourage our young men in their own spiritual journey.

I am grateful to the Pastors and Elders of our church for this great experience and look forward to attending the coming Man Camp with high expectations.
