This week we explore Matthew 15:21–28 and the powerful encounter between Jesus and a desperate Canaanite woman. Her daughter is suffering, and she refuses to let silence, delay, or cultural barriers stop her from coming to Christ. Her desperation drives her in a direction — not toward bitterness, but toward Jesus. In the end, her desperation becomes the very place where God’s power is revealed. This passage teaches us that in the kingdom of God, desperation is not a liability — it is often the doorway to deeper faith.
