On Good Friday, God's people sit in between the celebratory events of Palm Sunday and Easter, the triumphal entry and the resurrection; and we come together to reflect on the death of Jesus on a cross for the sin of humanity. Night falls and darkness comes as we reflect on the darkness of evil, the darkness of our sin, and the darkness of death.
