We welcome you to take part in Women's Ministries here at Lake City Community Church! It is our desire to offer events and activities that encourage all women, in every walk of life, to connect with each other and grow in her relationship with Jesus Christ.

Gather
"Growing Into Spring" Saturday March 25, 9:30-11:30am
Enjoy a morning of fellowship and learn tips and tricks for both your indoor and outdoor plants at our version of a garden show. Bring plants/cuttings and seed to swap and exchange. Plus, hear a devotional from Jessica Myhrberg!
We'll serve a continental-style breakfast with baked good and a yogurt bar along with coffee and tea.
Women's Retreat 2023
Join us for a meaningful weekend of fellowship, connection, and testimonies. The retreat will run Friday evening, and Saturday morning and afternoon. The cost for the weekend is $25 and includes snacks, breakfast and lunch. Free childcare with prior registration.
STITCHING SISTERS
A group of women who meet once a month to sew for various outreach projects including:
Christmas stockings for orphans in Russia, blankets for the women's shelter, pillowcases for local children's hospitals, dresses and shorts for children in various countries, and hygiene kits for girls in third-world countries. Meetings are third Fridays from 9-2 in the large conference room. Please bring a sack lunch.
MOPs
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and is for pregnant moms and moms of kids from birth through kindergarten. We also incorporate MomsNext into our group, for those moms with older, school-aged children. Join us as we come together to grow in friendship, support and encourage one another in this motherhood journey, and share the renewing hope of Jesus.
We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month through May at 9:15-11:30am. We have a Homeschoolers Room for school aged children to work independently. Please note that childcare is full at this time.

Mentoring and Discipleship Ministry; connecting women to women. This ministry provides an opportunity for spiritual discipleship, accountability, and a deepening relationship with the Lord.
This season of ministry is from October-June.
