As military folks and families, an all-knowing, all-wise, and all-loving God directs your steps. How awesome is that. It means God has a purpose and plan for your time here. He wants to do great things in you and through you while you are in the JBLM area. We understand the challenges of military members and families. Being separated from relatives and friends, coupled with the demands of military duty, can take its toll. We respect your struggles and want to do life with you. For this season, we would love to invite you to consider Lake City Community Church as your spiritual home. We love our Soldiers, Air Men, and military families. We’ve got some great opportunities to help you grow in your relationship with God and help you connect with a faith community as well as other military families.
Spring 2024 Registration

Reboot

REBOOT Combat Recovery helps veterans, service members and their families heal from trauma. REBOOT Combat Recovery specifically addresses military trauma. Veterans or active duty service members of all eras are welcome to attend. Spouses and caregivers also benefit greatly and are encouraged to attend. This is for those who have experienced trauma before, during, or after their time in the military. The course is a twelve-week study based on biblical principles lived out in community with others who share a similar story.
The course is free and includes a meal and childcare.

Just Moved

This ministry is a Bible study for women who are new to the area due to a move.  Come join women in a similar life stage.  Grow together, encourage one another, and connect with a teacher. We'll be going through the book "After the Boxes are Unpacked" by Susan Miller.  Check out our Events page for information on upcoming classes.

Military Support

Military life comes with unique challenges. Here are some of the military-focused Christian ministries we partner with to provide support to our military community.

Cadence

Cadence International seeks to foster a community where active duty military at JBLM can find a place of belonging, connection, and growth in Christ. They do this through Bible studies, sharing meals and time together, serving alongside one another, and one on one discipleship. 

Navigators

The Navigators are engaging with service members of JBLM to walk deeply with Jesus and train them to advance God's Kingdom through their natural, relational network. They do life-on-life discipleship in and through various gatherings throughout the week. For more information, contact Zach Abrams.

Leader Breakthru

One day we all leave the military, whether serving a few years or a lifetime. Making that transition can be challenging. Leader Breakthru coaching is designed to help walk you through major life transitions and formulate the best God-centered plans for your next chapter in life. Officers' Christian Fellowship

The mission of Officers’ Christian Fellowship is to engage military leaders in biblical fellowship and growth to equip them for Christ-like service at the intersection of faith, family, and profession. Several groups meet on and off post. For more information, contact Pastor Marc.

Shiloh Military Ministries

SMM missionaries provide Bible based teaching, hospitality, and activities for our military service members to grow in Christ.  For more information, contact Jennessa Randall.

Marc has been married to Switzerland-native Christa since 1988. They have four kids and four kids-in-law, with one grandbaby they love to spoil.
