Beware of the Leaven

In Matthew 16:1–12, the Pharisees and Sadducees demand a sign from Jesus, but He tells them the only sign they will receive is the “sign of Jonah,” pointing to His resurrection. He then warns His disciples to beware of the “leaven” of the religious leaders—not bread, but the danger of false teaching. Even small distortions of truth can quietly spread and lead people away from God.
