We are excited to share that God has opened a new door for Lake City Community Church to expand our reach and kingdom impact through a partnership with Grace Bible Church in Lacey, WA.
At the start of 2025, our leadership felt God calling us to a year of Bold Faith. Though we didn’t know what that would look like, we prayed for open doors and the courage to walk through them. In late February, Grace Bible Church reached out to us about a potential partnership.
LC3 Elder Board Chairman, Randy Madson, connected with their leadership in early March. Over the next month, a small team from both churches engaged in thoughtful and prayerful discussions. By the end of April, Grace Bible Church expressed their desire to move forward. This opportunity is a direct answer to over two years of prayer—seeking God’s guidance on how to accommodate our rapid growth and expand our ministry.
We are still in the early stages of planning and do not yet have detailed specifics on what this partnership will look like. However, we invite you to pray with us as we continue these conversations. Let’s celebrate the exciting ways God is moving in and through our church.

It offers a place where members of Grace Bible Church can continue to worship and serve, while creating opportunities for both congregations to grow together in faith and mission. It also provides an additional campus for LC3’s ministries to flourish. We believe this collaboration will glorify God and bless both communities.

As this opportunity came together quickly—within just two months—we are still discerning many of the details. Our elders and leadership team are moving forward prayerfully and with Bold Faith, trusting God to guide our next steps. We ask for your support and intercession as we work to shape this vision into reality. LC3’s elders and leadership team will be meeting to further discuss what this partnership might look like. We ask for your continued prayers for wisdom and unity during this process.

We are currently working with legal counsel to draft a formal agreement that would transfer Grace Bible Church’s assets to LC3. The new campus will be governed by LC3’s Constitution, Bylaws, and Doctrine, and will fall under the oversight of the LC3 Elder Board. As we take this bold step, we are partnering closely with Grace Bible Church’s current leadership to ensure a smooth transition in both operations and finances.

This is a time for our entire church family to engage with Bold Faith. First and foremost, please pray—pray for wisdom, unity, and clarity as we move forward. God is clearly moving, and we want to remain faithful to His leading. As the partnership progresses into summer, we anticipate many opportunities for you to serve, give, and invest in the future of this second campus.
